What is the Australian Tea Cultural Society?
The Australian Tea Cultural Society (AUSTCS) is a not-for-profit and charitable organisation, run by members for its members. The aims of the organisation are to build awareness around tea, it's pleasures, benefits and culture. AUSTCS is a body that brings together the Australian tea community and through the annual seminar provides a platform for comprehensive discussion, collaboration and innovation for the promotion of tea and tisane in Australia.
The Australian tea community comprises not just tea businesses but enthusiasts, growers and producers, members of the hospitality industry, representatives from the education sector and those from the traditional and alternative health professions. In fact, it is anyone and everyone who believes in a vibrant future for tea consumption in Australia.
